Total Merkan 2A  được thiết kế đặc biệt để bôi trơn các khớp nối và ổ trượt quay chậm ở nơi mà nó đáp ứng các yêu cầu của hàng hải nội địa và „ngoài trời‟. Phạm vi ứng dụng của nó thì rộng khắp. Total Merkan 2A  cũng thích hợp như loại mỡ có công dụng chung không “EP” sử dụng „ngoài trời‟ ở nơi mà nước thường xuyên tiếp xúc với mỡ. Luôn luôn tránh làm bẩn mỡ do bụi bẩn và/hoặc bụi đất khi tra mỡ. Ưu tiên sử dụng hệ thống bơm hơi.</span>
