The oils from the VISCOL® range are made from selected mineral base oils. They present exceptional adhesive properties thanks to their stringiness additives.
These oils protect efficiently against corrosion even in saline environment or in presence of steam up to 150°C. They also show excellent anti wear and extreme pressure properties for any kind of chains.

APPLICATIONS:

TOTAL RUBIA TIR 7400 20W-50 is a mineral lubricant used in on-road diesel technology.

It is recommended to Euro 3, and previous engines of most European and American manufacturers.

It is also adapted to Euro 5 and previous engines of some manufacturers with appropriate oil drain intervals.

TOTAL RUBIA TIR 7400 20W-50 enables coverage some fleet of mixed brands (American and European manufacturers) with a minimal number of products.

RECOMMENDATIONS FORUSE:

Before using the product, it is important to check the service manual of the vehicle: the drain is carried out according to the manufacturer’s requirements.

The product should not be stored at a temperature above 60 °C. Exposure to strong sunlight, extreme cold or high temperature variations must be avoided. All packages should be protected from bad weather conditions. The drums should be stored horizontally to avoid a possible contamination by water and the damage of the product label.

Method of Application

• Suitable for application through all conventional oil feeding systems commonly used in knitting machinery
• Before switching to TIXO STAINLESS, it is strongly recommended to drain and clean the machine and oil feeders

High resistance to oxidation in the presence of ammonia. Base oils and additivation system specillay selected to avoid the formation of black sludges (reaction between oil and ammonia). Low pour point, eliminating the risk of any residual lubricant freezing in the evaporator, thereby providing excellent heat exchange. Very high flash point given the low volatility of Total Lunaria NH oils : oil consumption is reduced by 30 to 50 % compared with conventional oils. Good compatibility with common elastomers (chloroprene, NBR….). Warning : storage must be done in order to avoid the presence of water within the oil. Indeed, water could block the evaporator.
